I really do love shirts that are custom tailored. Nothing beats a well made shirt that fits to your body snugly. I have been on a shirt frenzy lately and just recently tailored 2 shirts. I reckon I’d tailor a shirt every month. The best part about making your own shirts is that it actually doesn’t cost that much. The average price for tailoring a business shirt made of 2 ply Egyptian cotton is approximately $85-$120
I know Glee decrees that hairography = choreography using a lot of dance movement with the head that causes the hair to thrash about. But this is my definition:
Having hair so awesome that you can fling your arms up in the air and dance like a maniac.
Here’s a moment before it actually translated to awesome hair.
Monday specials with a dear friend at the old fire station bar - were you checking out the bar staff Fel? ;)
What's So Bad (About Feeling Good) by Ben Lee
Someone please explain the oddities of waking up at four am!
Dear God, are you trying to tell me something?
Ben Lee - What’s so bad (about feeling good)
“Well it’s not all analysis or mathematic pression
oh all the simple things in life are not small
and all your daily drama and the politics of pleasure
well they really do not matter much at all
so let your words start spilling out against your will
and let your love minlge with mine
close your eyes, look at me, open up your heart you’ll see
that we can share a moment, a moment in time”
I think being unemployed has made me a little more domesticated than usual. So I got up at 12 in the afternoon and I decided that making food would make me happy. So I did.
I whipped out my cooking bible, took out everything that we had in the kitchen and attempted 3 recipes.
1. Ginger Rockmelon and Orange smoothie
2. Winter Chicken Soup
3. Bruschetta
Something I learnt from watching the foodie film, Julie and Julia:
You can never have enough of butter.
So I toasted my baguette slices in a non stick pan with copious amounts of butter.
The end result was more than satisfying. It was heavenly. I even threw in a spoonful of butter into the chicken soup. It made the broth delicious beyond imagining.
The guilt of having so much butter in your food comes a little later, when you can actually see it.
But I’ll figure it out. Later.

P
So I got a little experimental over the weekend on a hot Saturday afternoon and this is what came out of it: A spicy tuna spaghettini!
I loved it! Who wants dips? Meeeeeee!
